The Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon has caused a small dispute this evening.

You see, I have a sister who is not only really attractive, but she is really brilliant. This is something I have struggled with for years. The immense jealously I feel when I am around her is overwhelming, but tonight, the situation was even more difficult than it has been in the past.

My sister informed me of a long held misconception that I have been carrying around. The Grand Canyon, is not, in fact, in Utah.

The Grand Canyon does, in a very small part, seep into the southern edge of the state of Utah, but the bulk of the National Park, is in Arizon, thus one speaking of the Canyon would say it is located in Arizona.

This information hurt my pride, because for many years I have naively believed the others who allegedly told me that the Grand Canyon is in Utah, and I was both embarrassed and ashamed that had been so foolish.

Currently, I am seeking guidance from a higher power to forgive my gorgeous, brilliant, and multi-talented sister.

Americas Pyramid of Importance

Even though some times Kyler can be kind of annoying he has done a lot in helping my family gain more recognition in the world(Thanks Kyler I appreciate it). You have done so much to help our family climb farther up the pyramid of importance in America. If you haven't heard just a few days ago my brother was in a contest for the freedom festival and he won. Because of this, my family just moved up the importance pyramid. If you aren't familiar with the pyramid of America here's how it goes first, President, Secretary of state Condalisa Rice (Sorry I don't know how to spell her name.), Stephen Colbert, Chuck Norris, Ordinary people that have great things happen to them or in my case their family members, normal people, Burger King employees, and then last but not least illegal immigrants. When Kyler becomes President of the United States, he will bring my family up even higher.

This morning

A while back I was in my moms room righting what I had done that day. When I was caught by surprise. I had realized that I did not know how to spell this morning. First I tried writing it all as one word Thismorning no that cant be right. So then I tried again This smorning. There is no way it is spelled like that, it does not look right at all. I thought to my self for a little bit and realized, maybe it is This morning like two words and every one just slurs them together when they say it? Feeling terribly blond and stupid I asked my mom is this morning "this...morning?" she looked at me confused like are you really asking me this question. "Yes of course it is" she said. I felt so stupid. I can promise you that I will never spell this morning wrong ever again and I will always remember how to spell it.

Sun burned

Last Friday I was able to have the opportunity to go cross country skiing with some of the kids from my school for free. Well since there is snow out side and I like to be warm and I think it is a super cool, I war a bandanna over my forehead. Well when I came home that afternoon I realized that I had received just a bit of color form the sun that day well I didn't realize how serious the sunburn i had was until I had taken off the bandanna I was wearing. There is now a line that goes straight across the middle of my forehead, it is like strawberry and vanilla ice cream. I guess I will just be wearing this same bandanna for the next few days, because no mater how hard I try to cover it up or scrub the sunburn away it is still there and I only hope that they will let me ware my bandanna to school on Monday.

nailed in the head with a rock

The other day I went swimming at my friends house. Little did I know that I would received a near fatal injury. As I was swimming a rock hit my arm and since I was under the diving board I thought maybe it had just fallen off of it. But suddenly I was nailed in the middle of my forehead with a rock. This happened Wednesday and it still hurts today and it is Friday.
The culprit of my injury was the pesky neighbor boy down the street. He snuck into his neighbor's (the Stake President) back yard and was throwing rocks over the fence at us girls to get are attention. This is a WARNING to all boys....DON'T THROW ROCKS AT GIRLS TO GET THERE ATTENTION!

My Big Toe

For a long time I have been told mean things about my big toes. Frankly, I think my big toes are pretty. I really don't think anything is wrong with them. They are the large size but that is good for better stability when I stand. There are two people in particular that are constantly making fun of my big toe, I think the only reason they make fun of my toes is to higher their self -esteem about their own toes. When you look at their feet their big toes they are shorter than the toe next it, and that is really weird. I told them toes should be in graduating heights, not short, way long then, short, shorter, shortest. They just told me that it was a sign of intelligence, but obviously not because they don't know how say nice things about my toes.

Crawdads

Just this last monday we went crawdad fishing with our neighbors the sieberts. This was lots of fun except for when I was being chased around with crawdads. For those of you who don't know crawdads have little pinchers and I don't think it would be fun getting pinched by one. When we were crawdad fishing I was convinced that I must conquer my fear of touching the crawdad and pick one up. I had my helpful neighbor Julia coach me on how to hold the crawdad and then finally she trained me enough to be able to pick one up all by my self. I thought I could say I am not afraid to hold a crawdad, but then later that next day I realized that maybe my fear was not totally over, because when my grandpa came over and wanted to eat a crawdad and my mom sent me down the freezer to get some I had a hard time doing it with their beady corpsy little eyes staring in to mine I could not bring my self to touch one so I just scooped them up with the bowl. Maybe I'm over my fear of live crawdads just not dead ones.
